Poetry and art at the Gray Loft Gallery

Last weekend Jerry Ratch read from his recently published book of poetry, "THE SIX-SECOND RULE", which includes his best poems from the past decade, published by Any Puppet Press. The cover was designed by artist Sherry Karver. Jerry has published 13 books of poetry, a novel titled "WILD DREAMS OF REALITY", and a Memoir: "A BODY DIVIDED". His work can be purchased through the author’s website, as well as downloads on Amazon.com kindle books.

We had a really nice crowd on a very warm Saturday afternoon at the gallery for Jerry's reading (see photos below).

The next poetry reading will be this coming Saturday, May 5 at 4:00 by Melody Lacina. Melody Lacina is the author of "Private Hunger" and another poetry collection that keeps circling at publishers. Her work also has appeared in many journals, including Poetry East, Cimarron Review, and The Journal. She and her partner, artist/teacher Matthew Silverberg, live in Berkeley.
