Gray Loft Gallery ~ COMMON GROUND reception

The reception for COMMON GROUND was very well attended. Thanks to all of you who joined us in celebrating this fabulous exhibit! The show is up until May 16th, so if you missed the reception, you will have other opportunities to see the show, either at the next 2nd Friday reception on May 8th, or when the gallery is open on Saturdays from 1:00 to 5:00, or by appointment. We had a fabulous time at the annual Slow Art Day event, which is a world-wide celebration of art designed to encourage us to discover the joy of looking at art by slowing down and observing artwork - a valuable exercise in our fast-paced world. We had a very contemplative experience and the attendees thoroughly enjoyed the time they spent with each piece they viewed.  After the art viewing, we had a lively, fruitful, and reflective discussion with a few of the artists in the show.
