On Sunday, October 28, at 10:00 am, the Gray Loft Gallery hosted a meet-and-greet for some of Oakland’s City Council members. Organized by Cynthia Elliot, Mariah Carle, and PJ Callahan, the gallery was honored to welcome Ignacio De La Fuente, who was running for Council Person at Large; and Noel Gallo, running for our District 5 council seat.
The 4 x 4 block neighborhood of Jingletown is an important voting block in Oakland, as we have one of the highest voting percentages in our city. We had a good turn-out, with the candidates making remarks to our audience and then took questions.
We thank them for their support of our neighborhood.
